Turku Science Park Ltd coordinates the activity of the regional HealthTurku cluster comprising of over 100 companies and four universities. HealthTurku is the strongest expertise cluster and a business pioneer of the life science field in Finland.

The focus areas of HealthTurku are preclinical and clinical drug research and development, diagnostics, biomaterials and health data. The three therapeutic focus areas are cancer and hormonal diseases, inflammatory and infectious diseases and diseases of the CNS. Regional strengths are preclinical and clinical research, bioimaging platform from cell to body and biomaterials.
