Chempolis Ltd. is a technology leader delivering innovative formico® biorefining technologies that provide profitable, sustainable and cost-effective solutions for a multitude of industries. Chempolis’ formico® technologies enable the production of high-quality products, such as bioethanol, biochemicals and sulphur-free lignin, sustainably out of lignocellulosic feedstocks. The process utilizes an extensive range of lignocellulosic biomasses in a flexible manner, with high material efficiency. Feedstocks we can utilize include non-wood and non-food biomasses such as straw, bagasse, corn stover, grasses, empty fruit bunch, bamboo and forest industry side streams.

The biorefining processes of Chempolis are designed to minimize negative environmental impacts and maximize social benefits. Chempolis’ technologies are self-sufficient in terms of energy, and produce no harmful effluents, CO2 or sulphuric emissions. Chempolis’ services entail technology licensing, biorefinery project development, product and application development and piloting.
