FIMM is an academic research institute on the medical campus of the University of Helsinki. FIMM hosts the FinnGen project, a public-private partneship between 10+ global pharmaceutical companies and Finnish biobanks profiling 500,000 Finns. FIMM is characterised by the partnership with the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, FIMM being the Finnish node of the Nordic EMBL Partnership for Molecular Medicine.
FIMM resources include large-scale genomic datasets and the latest research technologies for collaborative projects with public and private sector partners.
