Inion Oy is a medical device company focused on developing and commercializing innovative bioabsorbable and bioactive implants for Speciality Orthopedic, Craniomaxillofacial, Sports Medicine, Spinal and Dental applications. Our aim is to provide surgeons the freedom to choose bioabsorbable implants over metal when it's the best option for their patients.

Our products include bioabsorbable plates, screws, pins, anchors and bone graft substitutes, all of which are used to enhance the healing of bone or soft tissue injuries, such as those caused by trauma or by reconstructive surgery. Our core expertise is in the design and manufacture of implants from Inion® family of biomaterials.

Inion® bioabsorbable implants are manufactured in high-quality cleanrooms (ISO 7) in Tampere and we have offices in Finland and the USA. Our products are sold through a dedicated network of distributors worldwide. Approximately one million of our implants have been used in over 300 000 surgical operations.
