The failure of conventional measures to prevent the rising prevalence of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) necessitates the development of novel approaches. Chain Peptides has developed a peptide-based antimicrobial technology that is effective against a wide spectrum of microorganisms including ESKAPE pathogens Acinetobacter baumannii, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, and Enterococcus faecium with good efficacy. It can be used in medical devices to minimize the incidence and severity of HAIs. Medical device manufacturers will be able to offer products with cutting-edge qualities to address microbial infections, particularly those triggered by antibiotic-resistant strains, by incorporating our chain peptide-based technology into their medical devices. In-vitro tests on our main product, a peptide-based solution, has produced encouraging results.
